Bank Holiday for the state funeral of HM The Queen
It was announced that an additional Bank Holiday to mark the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19th September 2022.
Additional Bank Holiday Impact to your Direct Debit submissions
With most staff being off (subject to employers conditions) this Monday and the day being declared a Bank Holiday, you should consider what impacts this has to your Bacs processing.
Pay.uk confirmed on their website today* that their systems will follow bank holiday protocol and as such will operate a non-processing day on Monday 19th September 2022.
If you are submitting a Bacs file, you should now be aware of this new non-processing day and make alterations to your submissions.
